Job Description

Sales & Marketing
a. Preparation / designing of Sales / Collection Budget for the State Product / Territory wise looking into organizational (product) strength and Market Potential.
b. To keep Market information up to date.
c. Managing complete business operations inclusive of total turnaround with accountability for profitability & executing pre-designated targets in given time frame.
d. Strategizing short / long term business directions to ensure maximum profitability in line with organizational objectives.
e. Coordinating budgets, forecasts and reports & accordingly effectuating business plans to attain maximum sales and optimum revenue.
Market / Product Development
a. Developing product concept, launching strategy, executing plans, managing market survey, testing, distribution & pre & post launch promotions for new product launches.
b. Identifying as well as developing new markets for the new product launch as well as for Existing products.
c. Conceptualizing and implementing sales promotional strategies as a part of brand building and market development effort —-Designing of Campaigns & its successful implementation at field level.
d. New Initiatives like exploring possibilities for new Markets / Crops / Communication.

Channel Management-

a. Liaising with the distributor and depot in order to achieve the set target, along with identifying and developing reliable dealers / distributors for increasing market visibility.
b. Monitoring end-to-end process flows in order to ensure operational efficiency through distributors.
c. Developing & expanding the distribution channel network to enhance product reach & business targets.
d. Serving the requirements in the quickest time to ensure dealer satisfaction on issues pertaining to customer service, logistics, accounting, etc.
e. Endeavouring for settlement and recoveries of old & disputed accounts.
Liasoning With State Agriculture / Horticulture department in order to generate the Sales from them.

Essential Skills :

1. Expert in Sales & Marketing having excellent idea about the Market as well as competitor products / geography of working state / area.
2. Highly committed / dedicated as far as plan & its implementation at field level.
3. Should have fair idea about Segment / Product selection process vis–vis competition.
4. Should have good knowledge about Market / Product development / Channel Management etc.
5. Must be team player & a strong believer of team building / spirit.
6. Able to manage the Sales & Expenses budget effectively.
7. Liasoning Skills With State / Agri Departments

Qualification: B.Sc(Agriculture) / M.Sc(Agriculture) from a Reputed University.
MBA(Marketing/Agri Business ) Preferable.

Experience : 8 – 12 Years of hands on experience in Agricultural sales.
